So this is a recap of the entire week from the my eyes (Jason Robbins).
Carina and I got into Chicago on Tuesday and the exploring began. We ran around the city some hitting up a local Irish Pub where we ate and had some awesome beer. I drink a New Hollands Dragons Milk Stout which was tasty and strong. We ended up at a small bar to play pool where Carina suffered a massive asthma attack. She didn’t have an inhaler so my crazy ass started running around all over the city at 2am looking for one. She ended up being okay.
The next day we got up and started to wonder. Hit Geno’s East for their famous Sausage pizza. It was pretty dang good but crazy expensive. Our newest teammate Zamer made it into town and hooked up with us shortly after we ate. We roamed the city and clocked about 20-30 miles doing some the touristy type things.
One thing we noticed is we’re spoiled being from So Cal. Not a ton of super hot girls in our neck of the woods so we had to go on a mission… a mission to see if there was some sex-appeal. We hooked up with Beesley and Robby before heading out on our mission. Beesley stayed back at the room but Robby came along for the ride. A ride to the strip club. We ended up having some fun and Carina scored us some free Vodka but we eventually had to call it a night.
The next day the rest of the team met up. Carina and I went to the airport to meet Postal and Josh. We grabbed rental vans and had the staff at the rental company rolling! We had a few hours to kill before Nick flew in so we went and got something to eat. Take note Chicago is not the place to eat Mexican food. Again in CA we’re spoiled there. We struggled to put it down and I tapped out at the 1/2 way point.
We went to Joliet and got our awesome (ummm not so awesome) hotel rooms and then headed to the field to finalize registration and walk the fields. We opted to skip the captains meeting (we got on update on the rule changes for D1) and go to Wrigley field instead. I just wanted to see the stadium but we ended up grabbing tickets. The whole team got a row behind home plate on the balcony in the front row. We met up with Fatbird the camera guy who had never even watched a baseball game on TV. He didn’t even know the rules… and this kid is catching his first game at Wrigley?
Friday came and it was game day. Eddy and Jim from the local team LSD came out to help us pit and they were on the ball with everything. Unfortunately we were not. We played strong but just couldn’t finish out points. We only had 1 point that we didn’t get a flag on. Many of them were bad (which ya everyone says but we have em on video). Bottom line is we were beating ourselves.
After the games Carina and I went to Steak and Shake. It was my first exp at one. It was rad because I ended up getting paid to eat there. My bill was $9.03. I gave them $9.10 and they just gave me my dime back. They told me to pull up and wait for me food. After about 10mins I commented on how long it was taken. Just then a girl working there came up to my window with $10 in her hand. She apologized and said my order was deleted by mistake but they were remaking it now and then refunded me my money plus $1.
Later that evening we met up with Postal’s family had a bonfire, played with fireworks and ran around with the kids until it was time to leave. That night however someone hit one of our vans in the parking lot and took off.
Saturday it was more of the same. Us not playing as well as we should and penalty after penalty. It got so bad that we actually filed a complaint. Even though we did badly it seemed as if we found something positive to build on and we’re looking forward to DC. We’re confident that we’ll be in the top 4 came that event.
Sunday we ended up playing in the Living Legends event. Those scenario players are hardcore. It was a lot of fun for awhile but when they had the massive 700 vs 700 hill battle it was just a wall of paint in each direction.
All in all it was a great trip just wish the event went better for us. We’ll be ready for DC!
Our D1 squad put in some work. For the first D1 event with limited practice they did well enough to make Sunday… though they didn’t go far.
PBLyfe Elite wanted to put out big thanks to all of the sponsors.

Special thanks to LJ from LA Ironment and Raza for helping us round out the roster and kick some major ass.
Chris for taking charge of the pits and earning a spot as our traveling pit crew and practice coach.
Carina for taking charge of the booth and promoting the hell out of PBLyfe
We made lots of new friends and can’t wait until Chicago.
Our D3 squad didn’t fair so well. They learned a ton though and had an awesome closing game railroading the other team in what seemed like just seconds.
We also got to yell at them a lot but that’s part of the hazing process.
Look out Chicago PBLyfe Elite is on their way!
PBLyfe is proud to announce that we will be providing the NPPL with their Referee and All Star jerseys for the 2012 season.
Come out and see us at the Huntington Beach Surf City Open March 30th - April 1st.
We’ll have a vendor booth with gear and hot ladies and our factory teams Extreme Pros powered by PBLyfe (D3) and PBLyfe Elite (D1) will be competing.
Hope to see you there.
Play the Huntington Beach NPPL or other 7-man even using that layout? You can now download a first person pov layout of the field that allows you to run through the layout and check out angles and shooting lanes.

Our second episode of PBLyfe Elite’s 2012 season. Contains a practice with LA Critical and other raw footage against other teams in So Cal.
PBLyfe has been working on it for some time, but we have finalized our agreement with Extreme Pros Paintball Shop (www.extremepros.com).
Our D1 team PBLyfe Elite will proudly be promoting Extreme Pros through out the 2012 season and hopefully many seasons to come.
Our D3 team will take things to the next level by taking on the Extreme Pros name. Our D3 squad will be going by “Extreme Pros Paintball powered by PBLyfe” for the 2012
(jersey art will be released shortly).
Look for them at the D-League events out of Camp Pendleton Paintball Park and the NPPL events held in Huntington Beach, CA and Las Vegas, NV.
We’re extremely happy to be working with Extreme Pros. They have a great shop with a solid selection… but they have the one thing that sets them apart from all others. Their customer service is second to none. They work hard to make the customer feel important. It seems all to common these days that our industry forgets how important service is.
PBLyfe works hard to make sure that we take care of our customers and it’s nice to know that we’re teaming up with a company that does the same.

Los Angeles Critical invited us out for a day of practice… they took it to us most of the day. This is “raw” footage of one of our wins.
